# MetroRide Kids

> MetroRide Kids is a safety-first, subscription ride service for children aged 3 to 16 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Parents book school, preschool, tuition, coaching and activity rides in the MetroRide Kids app, watch the ride live on video, and get an alert when their child boards and is dropped off.

## What it offers

- Daily school transport in Hyderabad, plus rides to preschool, tuition and coaching classes, sports, dance and music classes and swimming.
- Police-verified drivers who pass a 16-point background check and a psychometric evaluation.
- Live in-car video (CCTV) during active rides and live GPS tracking in the app, with geofencing that keeps drivers in set travel zones.
- RFID boarding cards: the child taps on and off, and the parent gets an alert each time.
- SOS button linked to a Rapid Response team; remote vehicle immobilisers; AI scoring of driving behaviour.
- Small cars with fewer stops. Private car (a parent or guardian may ride along) or shared car (your child plus up to 3 other children; no adults).
- Drivers cannot cancel a booked ride.

## Plans and booking

- Monthly (20 working days), Quarterly (60 working days, biggest discount) and Single Ride (trial or one-off).
- Parents choose the weekdays they need. No surge pricing. Prices depend on route, timing and plan and are shown in the app before payment.
- Book before 4 PM to start the next day; bookings after 4 PM start the day after tomorrow at the earliest.
- Pickups run in 15-minute slots chosen in the app. The child should be ready at the start of the slot; the driver may arrive any time within it and waits 3 minutes.
- Booking in the app: log in with mobile number and OTP, set pickup and drop (Home, School, Academic Classes or Other), choose slots, private or shared car, plan and weekdays, then pay. Current offers appear under Apply Promotion.
- School holidays: turn off the ride in the app by 12 PM the day before for a carry-forward credit within the same subscription. Only in-app turn-offs count.
